KORE Recon Series Hemi

Create a performance street and trail ride for your Dodge Ram 4x4 with the RECON SERIES. This kit uses soft-riding straight rate coils and progressive mini leaf packs. Retains factory load ratings while greatly increasing control both on and off road.  Uses Bilstein 5160 Remote Reservoir shocks for increased wheel travel, fade free performance and no "topping out" over obstacles. Developed by KORE and Bilstein, the Bilstein 5160 shock package is specifically designed to work with KORE spring rates in the HD Dodge Hemi application.  Each Recon kit includes a Bilstein 5100 Series steering stabilizer.

 

This system will clear a 35x12.50x17 or 315/70/17 tire as long as it is used on the stock wheel or a wheel with the correct backspace. The stock backspace for the 2003-2010 Dodge is 6.25" and the 1998-2002 is 5.50". If you use an aftermarket wheel with a backspace of less than 6.0" for a 2003-2009 model or 5.0" for a 1998-2002 model then you may have to do some minor trimming on the back part of your front fenders. The VR Coils with this kit raise the front up to 3 inches.  We say "up to 3 inches" because not all Dodge Rams are the same from the factory; some are a little taller and some are shorter, depending on bumper configuration etc.
